JD's 1st Valentine Party

On Saturday, JD had a Valentine pajama party at our church and had a wonderful time! The children made Valentine cards, decorated door hangers that had their picture on them, sang songs which were led by the Children's Minister and his wife, played with balloons, puzzles, and Playdoh, and finished the morning by having a snack and getting to decorate their own Valentine cookie with sprinkles. It was great fun and I already look forward to attending again next year! JD Sr had to miss out this year as he picked up some sort of stomach virus and was feeling quite ill. He unfortunately had to spend his entire weekend in the bed surviving on nothing but Gatorade. He is feeling much better now and his appetite has returned. Not a moment too soon either, as we leave first thing in the morning for a family vacation to Washington, DC! We are so excited, and I will be sure to post pictures from our trip once we return.
