Long time, no post!

Well, hello again! It's Friday night, a little after 8:00pm, and both JD Sr and JD jr are sound asleep for the night. JD Sr is feeling a little under the weather, so he has actually been in bed since around 7:15pm, and JD jr went to bed about 15 minutes ago. It doesn't seem that long ago that lil' JD was still waking up all through the night, and now he sleeps 12 straight hours every single night. It's funny to think back to when he was a newborn and I used to wonder when and if that day would ever come when he would finally sleep through the entire night.

We've been enjoying the spring weather, in spite of the couple of cold snaps brought on by lots of rain. Poor lil' JD seems to be having a time with allergies because he spends a lot of time outside, and his little nose just runs and runs.

We recently went to the Spring Folly Festival in Kernersville, NC last weekend and it was a lot of fun. Much bigger than we had anticipated when we read about it in the paper. You can see in the photos that JD jr was really enjoying himself. JD Sr recently bought a bubble-maker and lil' JD just loves it! He has also recently taken a strong interest in the golf clubs that his granddaddy Steve gave him for his 1st birthday. He hits things all over the house, and you never know where they'll land (See picture of him trying to retrieve a ball that he hit under the bed.)

This coming Sunday will be my 2nd Mother's Day! JD was only 2 months old on my first Mother's Day.

We have lots of traveling planned over the next couple of months, so that should be nice to go visit with some friends and family soon.

Well, I am off to fold one last load of clothes and then I may turn in to bed myself shortly. JD jr and I played hide and seek for a while this evening, and I'm pooped!
